1967
Corks First Recruitment Agency
Established in 1967 by Brian & David Nicholson of Woodford Bourne Wine Importers, CSA (Central Staff Agency) was the first company in Cork to offer a staff recruitment service, specialising in the placement of permanent and temporary office staff. What drove us to start the company was the understanding that we could provide a service no one else was providing.The primary focus was permanent recruitment of secretarial staff with employee turnover boosted by legislation forcing women to retire after maternity leave!

1970
First employees
The idea of hiring temporary staff quickly grew as the economy grew and the company changed name to CSA Personnel in 1971. Although owned by Woodford Bourne CSA was managed by Imelda Callanan until her retirement in 1986.

1989
Momentum
CSA Personnel was the only such service in Cork until the birth of the Celtic Tiger in the late 1980’s.
In 1988 Woodford Bourne was taken over, Brian Nicholson retired and Alan Nicholson joined the company as Managing Director and remains to this day.
The business expanded to provide a wide range of staff including accounts, production and administration on contract and permanent basis. -
2016
Third Generation
Sam Nicholson joined the business in 2016 and has established the company's online presence while adding fresh impetus to the firm.
