Showroom Sales Executive

Department: Flooring & Carpet Industry

Compensation: 45-50k + Commission

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Showroom Sales Executive to join our clients sales team based just outside Cork City (Flooring & Carpet Industry)

What we need and about you

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a sales role, and be skilled at managing leads to drive our clients company’s revenue growth. While industry-specific knowledge is a bonus, it’s not required, as we’re prepared to guide the right candidate in learning about the industry.

This role will suit someone who is outgoing and able to manage a very busy workload, multi-task and work flawlessly under pressure

Base Salary is 45-50k + Commission (OTE 80-100k)

Responsibilities

  • Be the trusted point of contact for clients, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring every project runs smoothly from start to finish.
  • Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
  • Collaborate with their talented showroom and warehouse team to deliver a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Use your flooring expertise to guide clients in selecting the perfect products, providing exceptional service and advice tailored to their needs.
  • Leading by example – engaging with both retail and trade customers in store in a friendly and approachable manner; selling our products and services according to each customer’s needs
  • Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and successful outcomes.

  • Proven experience in a sales/ showroom sales role

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to build lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.

  • Good admin skills and practices.
