Business Development Rep

Compensation: 25-30k + Commission

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representatives to join our clients sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a sales role, be comfortable making a high volume of calls each week, and be skilled at managing leads to drive our company’s revenue growth. While industry-specific knowledge is a bonus, it’s not required, as we’re prepared to guide the right candidate in learning about our industry

This is a unique role in a national company who offer a niche service. This role will suit someone who is outgoing and able to manage a very busy workload, multi-task and work flawlessly under pressure.


  • Conduct prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, cold calling and social media.
  • Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including call strategies and territory management.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to accelerate sales cycle, extend reach into target accounts, and refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Navigate through a conversation flow to uncover business needs, understand pains, and position our company as a compelling solution.
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in our products.
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using our CRM platform.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth industry knowledge, industry trends, and competition.

We are looking for someone who has / is…

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Previous cold calling experience in a sales environment is a plus
  • Able to communicate effectively (in both written and verbal form).
  • Enjoys interacting and building relationships with customers and is comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and other sales automation tools.
  • Ability to work in a young sales team environment as a team player.
